The Footwheel stretches and relaxes the plantar fascia (the bottom of the foot) to help extinguish myofascial trigger points. To use, place the Footwheel on carpet or a heavy towel with your weight on the opposite foot. Steady yourself with a wall or chair if necessary. Use the wheel to search and find myofascial trigger points on the bottom of your foot – look for any areas that might be tight, knotty, rope-like, or tender. After locating these points, continue gently rolling for about 30 seconds. Make sure you move slowly and gently, finding useful, pressure-releasing pain – not “ouch” pain!
